training for 50 boarding students. The training will prepare

Inheritance laws in Egypt favor the husband's family, leaving
widowed mothers burdened by responsibilities and expenses with
few resources to pay for it all. A main concern is the
children's education. Your gift will supply uniforms, books, and tuition for
one year to the child of a widowed mother.

21) Medical Care for an
Egyptian Family
Harpur Memorial Hospital, a comprehensive hospital with 60
beds serving Menouf and the surrounding areas up to 70 km away,
treats about 50,000 destitute Egyptians every year, dispensing
free medication and in- and out-patient care at greatly reduced
rates. Your gift will cover basic health care
for an entire Egyptian family for one year.

22) Traveling Medical Clinic in
the
Outskirts of North Cairo
To help people in areas devoid of any kind of health care,
three doctors and three nurses from the Harpur Memorial Hospital
in Menouf go to the mosques and churches north of Cairo to do
examinations and dispense medication for free. They do
this three times each month. Your gift covers the cost of
one such outreach trip.
